  1. The winter snow scene, the toy colt, the scholarly tomes, the actor as president… they didn’t miss a trick did they? In the Fifties and early Sixties, many American homes were filled with cig smoke, mostly resulting from advertising. People were convinced it was cool. Women were told smoking was liberating etc. Half the kids in America grew up addicted.

    Really insidious. Hey but those days are gone now! Right? :O)
